The Girl - Not a thing

India is a land of various cultures and traditions. Here, most of the people pray 'Goddesses' to bless them with a baby boy, they don't even know that who they are praying is also a girl. Now, the Question arises why they don't want baby girl ? Some of the people are ready to accept the girls as their mother, wife, sister and even as a girlfriend too. But when it comes to be blessed with the same baby girl as a daughter, they won't be ready anymore.

Recently I came across a post in social media where a 3 to 4 days old baby girl is thrown into the garbage which was a very shameful and terrible act. We are living in 21st century with these kind of people who are having such a disrespectful mindset towards the girls. Our existence  would not have been possible if there is no female in this world. 

The Girl - Not a curse!

Our existence would not have been possible without the presence of a female. In many cases they are regarded as a sign of curse and burden of the family.  But, they are far superior than men in every field. Women should be given equal amount of priority like men. They deserve to get every opportunity to flourish in life. 

There is a stigma regarding the birth of a girl child as there lies different forms of social evil like rape, dowry, harassments, acid attacks and many more. These kind of evil practices do not allow some parents to have a girl child and raise them. However, the people who belongs to these kind of sections should understand the rapid growth and evolvement of the women in every field. 

Girls and women are proving their worth time to time in every field with their hard work, intelligence and dedication. One should not ignore the fact that the development of the country depends on the growth of the women. This is the reason why crime against women should be eliminated and stricter laws must be implemented to uplift the women.

Finally, I want to conclude this by saying, The society in which we are living is existing because of the women so, it is the responsibility of the society to safeguard the girls and women. 
Every girl is a  precious asset, not a curse.

Have you ever wondered that whether you are really Blessed or not? At some point in our lives, we all might have felt that we were not blessed if we did not get anything that we wish to get.
